Hi All,
Before posting an issue or a problem in the ArduRover Discussion Forum, please check the wiki table of contents, review the firmware release notes in the subforum, and search that subforum for existing answers to your question. Help avoid duplicate threads by finding other members with the same issue and their solution.
When formulating your post, use a descriptive title such as "rover will not navigate to waypoints in the Auto mode" (not "HELP!" or "Problem").
Please include the following information to help diagnose your query:
- Describe the problem you are having. What is the expected verses the observed behavior?
- Provide hardware information such as the brand and version of your autopilot, GPS, radio, and compass, as well as any other pertinent details about your rover setup.
- What version of the APM: ArdurRover2 firmware version are you running?
- For navigation issues, provide your tlog and/or dataflash log. Click here for instructions on retrieving a dataflash log.

please help...seems my rover left sensor is not working...link Below.
Thx Grant for the orientation parameters.
Is there an issue with using pass through pwm on RC9-RC10-etc in ardurover ? I tried today pass thru but servo would not move (has a BEV on servo rail). I then tried the car!era gimbal functions, also not moving servos. I tried another BEC, still no servo reaction.
Hi Grant. Yes I have. The Piksi hasn't been very useful until now as it hasn't been stable. With the new release V16 the Pixhawk doesnt manage to read the data correctly.
I will try to contact Niels
Thanks
Anders
Hi Anders. I haven't setup my Piksi's yet. Have you read these pages? They should help. Otherwise try contact Niels Joubert who wrote the driver.

Thanks, Grant.
Changing UART mode in Piksi dont help, Status is 1 and never increase although the Piksi sees many satellites.
After upgrading Piksi to version 16 I cannot get the PixHawk to communicate with it. I have tried it as GPS1 and GPS2 with the same result. Baud 115 and tried protocol 1 and 5 without success.
What protocol should Piksi use to communicate with Pixhawk?
Thanks Tom.
Hi Hugues. There are 2 orientation parameters. One for the pixhawk board and one for the external compass. Have a look at these pages:
Goodluck! Grant.
@Hugues,
You might have to orient the GPS/Compass the same way that the Pixhawk module is oriented on the chassis.
This sounds like a problem that might require assistance from Grant Morphett.

Pixhawk and GPS+Compass module orientation question :
-Pixhawk is turned 90 degrees clockwise relative to the front of vehicule
-The external compass+GPS is facing the front of the vehicle
I tried "Rotation_none", then "rotation yaw 90", also "rotation_yaw 270" with no success in having the front of the vehicule facing North (checked by looking at mission planner's HUD). I made a reboot and compass calib dance at each change. No joy.
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong ? (or known issue in rover code ?)
@Hugues,
I have bought all of my Traxxas Slash/E-Maxx roller chassis and hardware off of eBay from sellers with 99 -100% ratings.
