i'm gonna make this with the APM 2.5 and i dont know how to start>
should i remove the existing code in the APM and start from scratch ,and if i how to do this ?
or can i customize already found firm ware ?

I made somthing similar using multiwii .... front propellers changes orientation and also minor logic in flying

but in your case is much complex if u plan to fly the plane using ardu not a direct connection from the RX.
