Mapping Urban Environments with UAVs

Hi all,

I just want to share with you some of the work we have been doing using small unmanned aerial vehicles (primarily the APM 2.6 equipped SteadiDrone QU4D) internationally. Towards the end of 2013, Micro Aerial Projects L.L.C. received an innovation grant from the World Bank to explore the use of small UAS for the modernization of cadastral mapping and land tenure. I'd like to share with you a presentation we gave last week at the annual meeting of the Florida ASPRS (American Society of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing) which covered some of our work using UAVs for mapping and modeling urban environments.
