Dear All,
I'm using a DJI Phantom 4 quadricopter to make orthoimages.
I've noticed that, in pics' EXIF, elevation is recorded according to geoidic height. I've tried to search for a setting in the various flight planning tools in order to avoid elevation correction and to keep ellipsoid height but without results.
I'm using a UgCS V. 2.9 update 1 on a Win 7 (x64) laptop.
Is there anything I can do to solve this issue?
Thanks for your help,
Danilo

Danilo: could you try doing a coordinate transformation after creating the ortho? Just wondering if that can be done...?

Dear Sergey,
thank for your reply. I'll investigate the firmware option.
Best regards,
Danilo

Dear Danilo,
For 4 Phantom EXIF data recorded autopilot copter, UGCS can not influence this process.
It may be better to process third-party application these pictures?
Or change the firmware autopilot.

Dear Sergey,
thank for your suggestion. Unfortunately the geotagging tool allows only to tag images with AMSL or AGL/Raw (which are similar in values) heights.
I would like to write in each pic the elevation measured directly from the on board GPS, i.e. WGS 84 ellipsoid height, without further transformation.
Best regards,
Danilo

Dear Danilo,
You can use the functionality "Geotagging" after the flight, but only if the clock on the camera and the computer are the same.
For more information you can read on page 67 of the document "User manual":
