About Me:

A Geologist working for Resolution Copper Mining in Arizona, USA.

Please tell us a bit about your UAV interest

I have a RC C-160 Transall, 72" wingspan, which I want to convert to an aerial photography platform. Given the Transall lands fast and that I have limited good landing ground, I plan to deploy a parafoil to both slow and steady my landing.

Re: Parafoil used to aid (slow and stabilize) drone landing
I read advice comments you made to someone else, way back in 2009 on using a parafoil to slow the decent of a UAV.
