"I'm trying to load 2.65 onto an APM1.4 using Arduino1.0.1, but the sketch is too big: Binary sketch size: 130,702 bytes (of a 126,976 byte maximum)Interestingly enough, the .hex loads fine using Mission Planner. Any thoughts?"
I'm in the process of building an OSD using the MAX7456 chip which uses the SPI port, and had a thought regarding the Chip Select pin. The shared PG2/PJ2 pin is close to the existing SPI/ISP header, but requires you to solder SJ2. Instead, why not…
"Martin,
I guess I'm not alone! I believe the missing component is a 1k resistor, labeled R8 on the V1.41 schematic. The trace in question is the multiplexer selection line, so I'm pretty confident the resistor is required for proper operation."
I just received my APM V1.4, and noticed an unpopulated set of SMD pads in the PG5 trace (circled in yellow below). The images of the V1.4 board in the store do not show these pads. Is this a revision? Should these pads be populated?
