Finally managed to get a maiden flight with my X8 yesterday.
The aircraft flies well in manual mode, the CoG is correct and everything works as it should. It is appropriately powered with a thrust to weight ratio of about 0.8.
Hi, when I connect to the mission planner the apm board is showing a 3D GPS lock but the aircraft symbol is not shown on the map and I'm unable to set home etc. This is happening on all the versions of the planner that I try and use. Any ideas? All

Is it possible to load any code with APM planner? The only option I can see is loading the current code. I would like to load 2.0.55 but don't trust myself to do it with arduino.
