Please tell us a bit about your UAV interest

Looking to build my first UAV. Just bought my airframe, now sourcing and sizing parts for my UAV. Gonna use the APM 2.5 with sonar, optical flow sensor, Minimosd with 915mhz GSC. Ultimatly i want to build a robust UAV system to volunteer its use in service for Search and rescue in the local forests and parks in western North Carolina.

"i am just starting myself, so i don't have much to contribute at this point, but i did find this calculator yesterday that helps explain some power to kv to prop equations. you can plug in some numbers and see how it affects thrust, load, etc...…"
