"@Ruwan, No the assymmetry does not affect the performance. I am sure you could make it any shape and still be fine. On the second model I inverted the bottom lattice because it looks better and make the stiffness a little more uniform.
The laser…"

"No the frame will twist a little bit. You can control this by the number of connections between the layers.
No do don't have .dxf or .dwg at hand but i am sure you can find a way to convert."

"Here is the frame and camera pod in .hpgl format. If you don't have a laser cutter there are plenty of online services that cut for you.
If you make one please send a picture :)"

"Everything is made from 4mm. plywood. I realize that wood may not be the strongest material but certainly the cheapest so if I have a bad landing I simply plan to replace the broken parts. All parts are easy to swap without too much problems.

dzlonline replied to Frank Zhao's discussion ArduIMU V3, source code for DMP?
"Hi everybody.
I really don't mean to be rude but:
We have all bought the hardware and should really just start using it. How about we stop whining about Invensense and start getting a working library going for the ArduIMU3.
There is partly working…"

"Thanks everybody for all the good links.
It looks like there are many ways Directed Airflow Controlled Vehicles can be successfully made. With the right controller anything seem to fly.
I'm interested in making really unstable crafts fly like they…"

"@david. How did you tune your loop controller?
I see that your craft has relatively large surfaces compared to its mass. I imagine this gives you a little more time to collect data before things go wrong.
The RCTP is really heavy and have small…"

dzlonline replied to Chako's discussion ArduIMU+ V3 Pre-Sales Question
"I hope this answers your question.
The ArduIMU is a microcontroller (AVR ATMEGA328p) with gyros and accelerometers attached. The micro controller can be programmed with the arduino environment.
An elaborate reference program is made in the Arduino…"
