Phase 1: I would like to set up an electric sailplane with Ardupilot Mega full optional + FPV. Phase 2: Teach the model how to thermal by itself and add solar panels to increase autonomy. Systematic aerial photography missions.

I have the Meditak GPS and I never get GPSLOCK with APM1.0.  Version 1.02 of the APM software does not compile because of a bug relating to AP_GPS_MTK16 so I hesitate with upgrading the firmware of the GPS.
