I took the new 3DR IRIS+ out for some mapping testing using the stock IRIS+, Gopro Hero 3 Black and DroidPlanner 2.0 running on a Nexus 7 1st Gen tablet. We also tried out the follow-me feature which seemed to work well although you should use with a gimbal for best results. Checkout the video below-

Just to not confuse people, I assume you hit the "Follow" button, the "Dronie" button does a short away-and-back auto mission.

That was about the best produced video so far. Mapping unpopulated fields is definitely in the bag.
@Roberto, Like I say in the video, a brushless gimbal is a must for any sort of usable video while using the Follow-me functionality. Congrats on your video, looks great!
