Jordi now has a cool new pick-and-place machine, which will let us massively increase our production of boards. This video shows the first ArduPilot Mega IMU shields coming off the production line! Shipments went out to the dev team today, and pre-order customers should start getting theirs later this week.

@TimL: We'll continue to support the current generation of hardware for a long time. Right now we're just going through the last batch of bug fixes and will release the code as 2.7, which should be very solid. As for other header files, that's something we'd look to the community to create and share. We're still flying thermopiles, along with the IMU, but have pretty much put the EM406 behind us. We'll continue to support it, but will as always encourage people to move forward with better technologies as they emerge. We're at the leading edge of a fast moving industry, so continual evolution is part of the credo. For people who just want an autopilot that works and doesn't change much, there are commercial autopilots that we can heartily recommend (we plam to release a version of ArduPilot that's more plug-and-play, too)
I can understand that you are keen to drive your business forward with these exciting new products but let's not forget the existing investment some of us have made in your ardupilot system.
It would be good to finish off the previous product by testing imu and ardupilot with the items previously sold/recommened in the shop and regardless of that, to release more header files for different planes that are either in production or easier to source.
I noticed in a blog that you say you guys are now only flying faster planes that don't require air speed indicators and by that I assume you also mean thermopiles and em406
Now you will need a packing/shipping robot to handle all the orders!!
We're a pro electronics manufacturing factory now!
