There has been some question on the strength of a 3d printed quadcopter I had some wonders myself as to just how strong it was so I put this little test together not bad for a frame that weighs 636 grams

Abs is lighter and stronger for the modifications,there was a post here where an air frame was printed with a nylon type filament.

Might even shave some more grams and allow for thinner walls.

Impressive resistance for PLA. Now it would be nice to make the following experiments:

-reduce the infill parameters by 10% in your printer

-measure the resistance

-repeat until you get the lightest frame as possible that can still sustain a reasonable weight (it is useless to support 27Kg and it adds unecessary weight. 600+ grams is relatively heavy for a quad frame)

PX32 flying wing got Folded and Parked on. not sure if it would surbive a dynamic load on a collision with a light aircraft. given it doesn't enter the Prop.
