DIY Drones at 76,000 members -- plus 20% "Spirit of 76" 3DR discount to members

For Americans, the number 76 has special significance, since the US Declaration of Independence was signed in 1776 and every hundred years we go crazy with a "Spirit of 76" celebration. For the British, who were on the other side of that historic division, the date is less celebrated. As a dual US/UK citizen I'm a little conflicted about the history, but not when it comes to the number 76. It's a good one -- celebrate!

The problem with going through a mail forwarder is that your warranty is in the country that you purchased it in. Could have some pretty long delays if you need to send it back. Where we will just exchange it if is needed and sort out the warranty internally.

I have ordered IRIS+ and some parts on Feb 28, but it is still in process for shipping. No shipping track available yet.

It says 'Solo only ships to US and Canada.'

What I am missing?

I am in Korea and jealous. I just ordered IRIS+ on March 1, because Solo is only shipped to USA and Canada.

Twenty percent is a great discount especially for the newly price lowered Solo.

And the Solo has proven to be a very capable Quadcopter / Photo / Video platform.

Perfect timing, I need a PixHawk for an underwater drone project I'm working on. BTW, how long does it normally take 3DR to process an order? I placed my order early yesterday and its status is still "processing".

Its on special at the moment!.... For $1787+499 for gimbal. Batteries are $400 (haha) Thats roughly $1600 US for machine and gimbal. we have 15% gst, but still..

Id like a solo to play with, just not that much :D
