Could be a first proper strike. Or not.
A plane approaching Heathrow Airport is believed to have hit a drone before it landed safely, the Metropolitan Police have said.
The British Airways flight from Geneva was hit as it approached the London airport at about 12:50 BST with 132 passengers and five crew on board.
After landing, the pilot reported an object - believed to be a drone - had struck the front of the Airbus A320.

As such aircraft are designed to absorb significant beating (keyword: Canadian goose, 12lb) it is very likely, that most hits would result in no or very minor damage and even hitting very critical areas would result in manageable damage. IMO it is impossible, that a DJI Phantom would ever bring down an airliner....

You can call what you like. It was inspected by a BA engineer and released back into service...
Unless this is a large (1m+) black drone I'd be sceptical that a pilot would see it long enough to identify it flying at x00mph - something like a white phantom would be difficult to see at that speed?
Anyway I hope they catch the moronic imbecile responsible for this and throw the book at them to discourage other moronic imbeciles from endangering hundreds of peoples lives - for what? This is akin to shining lasers in pilots eyes.
Queue the lectures and flaming of irresponsible people operating off the shelf products. Up next: a flaming on those that don't recharge lipos safely.
I call Bull Shit on this. If something did hit the plane would still be on the ground and not allowed to fly to it's next destination.
