I'm glad to present you a video of an artistic project that I made one year ago:
Dronecoria (dronechory): an aerial platform for seed dispersal via nendo dango seed balls, for one-click reforestation.
Agro-hacking brazilian rainforest dispersing local seeds with drones.

This was just a proof of concept, I would like to build one cabable of carry at least 3 kilos of seeds ;)
But I don't have economical resources for build this kind of expensives multicopters with big payload :(

Have you considered something like FireFLY6? It's a possible solution or an idea on a hybrid copter/airplane (VSTOL) design. Something to consider.

Yeah, perhaps a fixed wing is a better option for big payloads. We've been building big airframes with the techniques you've seen at the fablab, so perhaps we can design something together. Let's talk about this!
This is a great application although I wonder why a 'copter is used? Fixed wing planes carry more, are cheaper and fly further. Of course fixed-wing requires more take off and landing space.
