Well I bought what is going to be my first UAV a SkyFun and a battery for it. On the first charge it swelled up like the Michelin man. It is a Turnigy nano-tech 3.0 3000mAh 25-50C charged by a dynamite charger at 1A.
Get FMA Cellpro 4s or 10s charger. It's automatic and charges directly from Lipo's balance leads. No chance for anything like that. With a proper charger you can easily charge a 3000mAh battery with 3A or 1C.
Don't go cheap on a charger and risk your home or workplace.
Yeah I saw the US warehouse it makes my life a lot easier. The one that arashi recommended is at the USA one so I might be getting that since the one Chris recommended seems to not be available here in the US. Spending 20-30 on shipping for a order that is under 150 really sucks.
Taylor - Just directly to the car battery in the field and I have a 19amp Radio shack one for home use. I have it for Ham stuff. I usually balance charge at home at lower amps, so you could get away with a smaller supply.

Hobby King has a USA warehouse now and you can buy Turnigy LiPos from them at reasonable prices.
Just a thought.

I can vouch for this one http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=15167
It will charge at up to 10 amps and does everything.
Best thing is that it is stocked at the USA warehouse and only costs $33.00
I regularly charge my 3000+ 20c packs at 10 amps while in the field to no ill effect. It also has a usb monitoring port that can be used with your PC.
@Chris
Okay I'm getting that. Thanks.
