About Me:

I'm wanting to get into programming and building UAVs in that order of importance. Even though I will have to build one first. I'm in my senior year getting a CS degree, and love the various applications that UAVs can accommodate.

Please tell us a bit about your UAV interest

I am mainly interested in planes maybe VTOL. The idea of helicopters just seems like they move too slow and don't have the endurance.

"@Brian:

The documentation is there... It's called source code, diffs, changelogs, and checkin logs. I have been able to follow this project even though I haven't had the time to fly for months. Lots of sim time though. It takes a lot more than just…"

"I can't wait until cops get their own and the epic air jousting that will occur. Although maybe I just live in a city that has really bad cops so I expect them to do stuff like that. "

T.D. Gonzales commented on Chris Anderson's blog post Anybody recognize this drone?
"The pictures aren't really good enough to prove one way or another what that is. A number of organizations have shown that they have the technical ability to produce something like this with a little effort. If it is US it wasn't produced in country…"

T.D. Gonzales commented on Chris Anderson's blog post Is the GPS system endangered in the US?
"Lets see how fast the FAA smacks this down if it really does cause a problem with existing GPS systems. Then just make sure that there is a connection between 15kW towers and cancer and Mr. subprime is SOL.

Yeah 10 min... You would need two *and* plenty of batteries for a Swat situation. I have talked to swat guys that say surveillance can last for hours to days before swat actually goes in."

"Controlling pitch in the air? Wow although the torque would probably do it enough to let you adjust things a bit. Just don't blow the engine in mid air."
