Steven: No, like the the original APM 2.0 enclosure, it's designed to be mounted with double-sided tape. But if you want to drill holes to mount with screws, you can.
Robert, I am actually using the 180A Attopilot with my APM2 on my Hex, due to a miscalculation on my behalf (regarding prop size) I had an unplanned landing, analysing the log showed a huge voltage drop and increase in current . It actually hit the 180A mark, ever since current reading was not working, checked Attopilot unit and it is ok ... changed the current inputs on the APM2 from A2 to A1 last week and its working again. So damage must have been done to the APM2 current input A2 .
So I wonder about the handling with the new power sensor, and consequences of overloading.

I just hope that the recent mediatek problems with the latetst arducopter fw versions will be resolved.
HB, I see there is a 180A Attopilot sensor. That's good enough for me. But I wonder how much voltage drop there is on these? Is it significant?
I also would like to see a power module with 300 Amps !Could probably be achived by supplying diverent value shunt resistors, and we can put them in ourselves.
And have the values in the mission planner for setup.
Will the existing power module burn out if overloaded ? what are the specs ?

I hear you Theo, I have a lot of ill-timed purchases on my equipment shelves, but that is the price of operating on the bleeding edge of this rapidly developing tech. It's better than the old days where everything took five or ten years to improve. : )
