Catagory: Fixed Wing- 125cm Flying Wing
Total Time: 1:40.
This is the 3rd or 4th time I've flown my wing with the APM. (And my first experience flying with the APM.) Tuning is still in progress, but I've been very impressed with the system thus far. The stock PID gains have worked pretty well. For the run entered here, the speed was set to 12 m/s.

Alex, sorry for the long delay...
The best time I've gotten with this wing is 26 minutes on a 3s2200. I have upgraded to a 30C 3s2800, and have probably done over half an hour, have not bothered to check what the new endurance is yet. Cruising speed is 14 m/s
What kind of endurance do you get with this plane, and with what battery?
@Gary: Very true. I do safety piloting for our UAV lab at BYU, APM is definitely on par with the 2005 and 2006 Kestrel autopilots.
@James: Go for it! If popular demand increases, I could write a full guide to how to make it.
@Alan: Yeah, can't survive without one!
@UT: Stock gains for ArduPlane 2.24; everything default except RLL2SRV_P,0.399 and PTCH2SRV_P,0.399. So, stock I suppose in the sense of not touching the Altitude and Nav gains and barely modifying Roll and Pitch P.
Nice flight, when you say you used the stock PID gains, is this just the ones that you get when you load the latest code onto your APM, or one of the param files on the wiki?
Very nice wing!
UT
props on the leatherman! cant do anything without one hahaha
Looks good, and I'm impressed with the wing too! Do you mind if I attempt to build myself one at some point?
Yeah, if thats stock with a wing its pretty impressive for sure. That sort of performance from an AP would have cost you $10,000 five years ago.
Very good corner points without fish tail oscillations.
Well done Stephen, better to put them into the T3 thread so I can keep track, but I have this one now.
