Just thought I'd share
Pixracer (Xracer) Autopilot V1.0 FMU V4 Generation
AUD $135
Now I'd like to know if this is a clone, or the real thing from AUAV?

Thanks Rob, you saved my 100$
I'm not an expert electronic but AUAV pixracer and power module looks really good finish, wires and connectors looks nice quality and I'm impressed with vibrations response :O I hard mounted on a racer with regular quality motors and props and nice alt hold during first flight, only a yaw issue but I hope I have to tune yet. For the price it not have sense to buy a clone if you can access to buy the genuine one and support devs.
I'm only miss the case ;)
@ Marc Dornan , I agree.
Did you notice that back when HK copied the APM, they actually called it ArduPilot, -until they rec'd notice to cease and desist.
So a copied silkscreen does not surprise me a bit.
Can you please post a picture of the PCB? I am curious of the markings.
mine working good and the qulaity is good
i ve opened the case and so far the soldering is very good with no flux
pixracer need blind via pcb and high grade smt production line. not something very taobao cloner could do it well.
I'm the guy who made the video above, definitely don't get this.
On the one hand, soldering is very poor. They messed up the soldering of 3 sensors in my case, and who knows what else is wrong.
Second of all, while that case does looks nice - it allows for no airflow and heats up pretty quickly as well. More like an oven in there.
We have really nice molded plastic cases coming, but the process has been much more difficult than I ever imagined. So they are in the works.
Incidendentally, I own plenty of flight controller boards (far too many) and the physical quality of the Arsov ones exceeds all others I own (and that includes genuine 3DR Pixhawks). As a convenience factor I wish they would just sell a case for $10 or so I do not have to use Shapeways. Phillip - can you just get a batch of your design printed and have them available to order in your store?
I agree about the cases, I wish I could figure out who is making them.
Lately we have had plenty of stock on the flight controllers, it is people buying our accessories that are hurting us now. That is not really a complaint, but we are working to correct that now.
