X8 flying wing

New wing from Skywalker factory >>X8 UAV platform<<

For those who want Long range / Long flying time / High payload the new X8 wing will get you there..

The wing X8, will be released early 2012.

Wing span: 2122mm

Wing area: 80dm2

valid payload: 1000-2000g

X8 use KV730 2820 Motor, 40-60A ESC and 1260, 1280 prop

X8 skywalker wing

I'm already in love with this bird...

Now the X8 wing is ready in strong EPO foam

So I am trying to gather the equipment needed for my X8 and wanted to find out what the recommended Motor, ESC, and Prop would be for a 3S setup???

Are we speaking of the same? There is two items in the Bevrc shop. I used the link from the post of Hooks (like 4 posts up). It's still in stock how i see

Bevrc is out of stock as we speak. I ordered the black they said they had a delay with the black and wanted to ship me the white. When they are closer to shipping they said they would ask me which I wanted. I am going to wait for the black version.

Hey great there is a EPO-Version out now. I've got the EPS-Version. It does not look very durable.

How many are beeing produced?? Will they be out of stock soon?

hi mauro!

yes, i tested the hacker motor many times - really powerful and efficient! with 2x4s 5000 @ 30mph you´ll have a flight time about 80-90 minutes - depends on the temperature and the wind but under "normal" conditions it´s absolutely no problem!

there is a guy (RCG) who is using 24000mah - 15000mah is definitely no problem...but after flying more than 100 minutes fpv you´ll puke in your shoes :D
