  • Anyone know where to buy compatible bullet/banana connectors for the 3DR copters?  I need to replace a motor and want to use the connectors that come with the blue motor.  This appears to be a 3.5 mm banana style plug, but not sure which exact female plug would be compatible - many of the images I see online appear to be squatter than what comes on the ESC.

  • Any help to see what could happend? Here´s the last log. It falls in water, and i rescued 5 days after. Its and rc timer hexa combo, apm3.1, external compass (compasmot 4%), video tx400mw (lipo 1300ma) ,brushless gimbal and Gpor3(lipo1000mah).4500mah lipo for apm and motors. It used to fly really well, never something strange...but this time it ends in the bottom of the river...many thanks! 2014-02-16%2017-54.log

  • Have hopefully backed 2 units.

    Plan to use horizontal and vertical  on my 3DR X8 2014 (on order)..

    Have heard (unofficially) from on high that Pixhawk is (or will be) compatible but

    cannot attest to that yet. Lidar could be a gamechanger.

  • Can anyone tell me if the Pixhawk can use the new Lidar-Lite optical distance measuring device? It's I2c compatible, and so I assume it can plug into the I2C hub, but would the Pixhawk know what do do with it? Is is the same as sonar?

    I have a poblem With Me hexacoptero Motado and have already configured with version 3.1 of apm arducopter ....

    Hoara to fly detachment and after a few minitus starts turning right and I can not straighten up and turn without losing control detenerce and estrellarce ....

    if I could help with this problem will thank a lot ...

    Sufal,

        Re the PX4Flow.  It's not supported by the ArduCopter software yet.  This is mentioned on the bottom of the page in the 3dr store.  Unfortunately I think it's unlikely that it will ever be supported on the APM2 due to CPU limitations and lack of spare serial ports.  I'm pretty sure it will be supported on the Pixhawk in AC3.2 or AC3.3.  I've added a warning about lack of support for the APM2 to the wiki....  Sorry for the troubles.

    i am giong to designe quadcopter with fpv camera which could be controlled from 5km range a collected all the data but i have still stuck with antenna.

    kindly guide me about long range antenna that could controll quad copter from 5km range

    So i finally have a new regulator installed and the board has come up on mission planner motors arm no more bad gyro health displayed in the data page but now i don't have any GPS it was working just fine what could be causing this to occur thanks for any help.

Drone flying to non visible point

Hi there,I encountered a problem, while flying in auto mode, with approching to point that was not set by trajectory and is not visible after downloading mission from flight controller by Mission Planner. Does anybody encountered similar problem. The situation is that in the middle flight I stopped the UAV and uploaded new mission and after changing to auto mode it starts to fly in some direction. TAKEOFF WITHOUT USING GPS

Hi,Im working on a autonomous drones and im using JETSON NANO and flight controller PIXHAWK .Im able to control my drone by giving rc commands on the MAVLINK terminal itself by connecting it with PIXHAWK but now i want a python code from which i can do some operations like:takeoff,left ,right,forward,backward…and i am not using GPS…Can anyone please help me…

HELP quadcopter: one motor twitching and stuttering

Will AHRS_ORIENTATION=8 for Arducopter 3.2.1 on APM 2.5 using a traditional Heli

I have been Reading Chris Olsen posts and watching his videos on Arducopter with traditional Helis using a Pixhawk.I have inherited an older Trex 450 heli with the old Align 3G FBL hardware.  The FBL controller appears to be bad.  So I have an old APM 2.5 without a compass or GPS on board.  I just want to replace the failed Align 3G FBL system with the APM.Now I have to mount the APM under the skids on the heli so the APM will be upside down.I have Two questions.1)  Is the AHRS_ORIENTATION=8…
