    • I worked through this on my hexacopter. ArduCopter's numbering of the motors is very specific, not a circle but three diagonals. 1 is the right side, 2 is the left, 3 and 4 are opposite, 5 and 6 are opposite. If you don't have them wired this way the Motor Test in Mission Planner would act that way. Also, it probably won't fly right. May just flip over and try to dig to china on you the first takeoff.

    Has anyone heard of a aerial mapping system called VMAP?

    I have read that tower companies are starting to use drones to inspect and map their towers.

  • open MP then press control F and the select Param Gen on the left. 

    close it and MP. Open MP and connect to your APM and all the drop downs in flight mode should now be populated.

  • hi can any one help me how to set of_loiter mode with apm 2.6 in mission planner i'm not able to see of_loiter mode in flight modes can any help me how to resolve this issue...

  • Asif what FC do you have?  I have an APM 2.8 on my rover and I had the compass jumper in the wrong spot, I had the same issue where I couldn't calibrate the compass.

    i have problem with my quadcopter.

    it flip as flying. i know i could not calibrate compass in mission planner. mission planner dont get sample when i move my ardupilot

    any one can help me?

  • I think there is a paperclip reset hole on the side of the pixhawk.  That should do it.

    Is there a simple way to reset my pixhalk ? 

    I purchased one to put in my 650 tarot and used mission planner to set it up, as I am use to this.

    Then I read Qground control was better , don't believe everything you read.

    So tryed it and don't like it and thought I could just reinstalled program from mission planner.No you can't won't install firmware ,so I want to start all over again from fresh. Is there a way to do this ? Looked and asked intranet without any joy.

    Anybody?

Building Possibly My Last Multicopter

I left the hobby in 2022 after the crash of my Tarot Ironman due to a propeller blade separation resulting in complete destruction of the aircraft. Since then I have been flying an old DJI MAvic Pro that I bought used from a photographer who wanted to upgrade. Anyway, recently l've thought about wanting to build one more multicopter. Drone flying to non visible point

Hi there,I encountered a problem, while flying in auto mode, with approching to point that was not set by trajectory and is not visible after downloading mission from flight controller by Mission Planner. Does anybody encountered similar problem. The situation is that in the middle flight I stopped the UAV and uploaded new mission and after changing to auto mode it starts to fly in some direction. HELP quadcopter: one motor twitching and stuttering
