Hi All,
Before posting an issue or a problem in the ArduRover Discussion Forum, please check the wiki table of contents, review the firmware release notes in the subforum, and search that subforum for existing answers to your question. Help avoid duplicate threads by finding other members with the same issue and their solution.
When formulating your post, use a descriptive title such as "rover will not navigate to waypoints in the Auto mode" (not "HELP!" or "Problem").
Please include the following information to help diagnose your query:
- Describe the problem you are having. What is the expected verses the observed behavior?
- Provide hardware information such as the brand and version of your autopilot, GPS, radio, and compass, as well as any other pertinent details about your rover setup.
- What version of the APM: ArdurRover2 firmware version are you running?
- For navigation issues, provide your tlog and/or dataflash log. Click here for instructions on retrieving a dataflash log.

While cleaning up the ArduRover firmware, it would be very helpful for the few of us working with twin screw boats if the Elevator channel could be converted to a second throttle.
@Thomas,
I order with PayPal all the time, and I've never been charged. Never ordered from China with them that I can recall. I pay when I ship engine plans that I've sold via PayPal.
On the China board, I wouldn't. OK to build one for one's own use, and I think you could use the license to make and sell boards as well.

I can understand wanting to get a deal; this stuff ain't cheap. APM is too rich for my blood at the moment (until I sell lots more on Tindie haha).
Maybe I can find a deal used. I'm going to skip the clone, though. I might try to roll my own out of individual modules but...anyone know offhand if there's an MPU-6000 breakout board?
If they had the same QA processes, it might simply be a consumer loyalty issue. As with a certain other offshore copycat company, you might need a "goodluckbuy."
@Tim,
When you buy from RCTimer. com there is probably no warranty and if there is, they will want you to ship it back to China at your expense. Also, who are you going to go to with technical issues concerning this knock-off? 3DR only supports its own products and to me that is reasonable.
Just a thought.

@Alan,
When you buy from Hobby King in China, they eat the PayPal fee that you would, as a buyer, have to pay for using PayPal overseas.

PayPal fee? I've paid as a seller, but not to buy.

Actually, the combo board with GPS and the 433 or 900 MHz radios are on sale through today for $144 shipped ($2 shipping and $5 PayPal fee).
Bot, I'm kinda in the same situation. Don't tell anyone, but there's an alternative that's quite a bit cheaper and works almost identically. It's the RCflyer board from RCtimer.com. Pair it with the CN06 GPS (an ublox NEO6) and you have a working ardupilot-gps combination for $120 shipped.
Only thing you need to do is configure the CN06 gps with the ublox3DR.txt file that can be found on this website somewhere (don't remember where exactly). And check that connections/cables are right.
But you didn't hear any of the above from me !
