Talk about the 3DR Solo quadcopter
4K Action Camera Wifi WiMiUS L3 2.45'' LCD Touch Screen $42 off
There is a lot to like about the WiMius L3 16MP 4K Action Cam as it's undoubtedly a worthy competitor to the GoPro at a sharp fraction of the price. It's simply amazing what they were able to do in such a tight package. It does 4k video , 60fps 1080p video, has a webcam mode which would be used on youtube if necessary, comes with a variety of different accessories like the go pro which includes the signature case and many many other cool things as well. I use a program called Bandicam I was…

Yes, I ordered June 13, 2015 and received the Solo a few weeks later. After three months of dealing with 3DR support due to disconnects between the controller and the Solo, I sent it back (I like to be in control of my flying vehicles). I'm surprised 3DR Support didn't swap out the controller, but then I'm not 3DR Support..
Wahapainan,
I filed my claim with MasterCard last Friday. I have not filed a complaint with BBB yet (but I may). I can't figure out why changing ownership would prevent the refunding of money in a timely fashion. I hope that, you, I, and the rest of the people that ordered the Solo from DLSRPros eventually get our refunds. The only question that I have for you is... Did you ever get a Solo Drone?
In trying to get my Solo refund (Delivered to DSLRPros on October 5th) I finally received the message below. I've had no choice but to open a PayPal dispute and file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. It's sad to see a company do so badly during a transition, I'll never.... ever buy from them again.
Solo Received, Gimbal Received, Free Spare Battery on its way (her today or Monday). It looks like 3DR came through.
Now awaiting my refund from DSLRPros. They have been nothing but excuses. 1st it was (it takes 5 to 10 business days) now it is (DSLRPros will soon be under new ownership and will be fulfilling all of the orders and refunds that were promised.)
I am filing a "Dispute" with MasterCard, this evening.
@Philip, then please explain why on the back of the gimbal box it clearly states and I quote "Compatible with GoPro Hero3+, and Hero4" and does not state only with Hero4, however there is limited function for hero3+ (basically so minimal to the point where its useless) since you can't record...
Also not the only place you've advertised such, here https://3drobotics.com/solo-gopro-drone/ and then theres here https://3drobotics.com/solo-gopro-drone-specs/, and I've seen it elsewhere also (perhaps my manuals, or the rest of the documentation I've been collecting?)......
So its not a matter of sorry at this point, its a matter of wether or not it will be done or if in fact it was false advertise as doing so......Not sure if 3DR doesn't realize it or doesn't care but falsely advertising things is not exactly legal in most places...
AFAIK, there is NO plan for hero 3+ Silver compatibility
Sorry.
@Ray, I'm not sure, I can't speak on behalf of any other company, as I've never had to deal with them just yet... Although I didn't have to wait for a gimbal on my P3P so wasn't really an issue with regards to that aspect......
Anyone try the new update?
After doing so when moving the gimbal tab on the controller about 35-70% the motor that moves to gopro starts to make a sort of resisting noise or like theres to much pressure forced upon it? Ironically upon removing one of the two weights, it went away and seems to work again? I'm using the Hero3+ Silver, so it normally requires the largest weights...Anyone else experience a similar issue?....Also has anyone updated their go pro to the 3.02 firmware to see if there was any fix in the new update?...I'm still not getting any record/stop control with 2.00 and my gopro still stays on after i shut the system down....
@Craig P.
Not anything like that other company. I don't think I've been lied to yet by 3DR and their support is top notch.
No wait for the gimbal... lol YEA RIGHT!!! ha
