I've been doing RC for many years, multicopters for about five years and drones for about a year. Interested mostly for the photographic opportunity buy basically I just like complex toys.

"Could be a power issue. I had a similar challenge connecting additional equipment to my Pixhawk. I assume you are using a separate battery to power everything, but make sure it's up to the job."

"It's at my shop and I don't recall, it's a Samsung 7", probably a Tab 3. I don't get any indication that it is powering the 3DR radio."
