Recent convert to UAV's, but have a few years of RC experience, so okay with the RF side of things. 50% of my fleet is 2.4GHz RC control, the other 50% is 459MHz OpenLRS
Please tell us a bit about your UAV interest
In my collection I have TBS Discovery with DJI Naza, found it too restrictive, got into the FPV250 mini quad scene, but now going back to my roots with fixed wing. Building a 1900mm Skywalker (fitted with APM) and also have plans to equip a 'retired' Art Tech Diamond 2500 foamy glider with a new AUAV-X2 brain ;)

I can think of more likely culprits for unwanted UHF 'noise', i.e. FPV camera, GoPro of similar.
Just move your Rx and antenna as far away as practical. "
