Thanks for the suggestion Guy, I had looked at one similar but I was really hoping to find something with the pins (for the esc servo cables) and cables to the pixhawk (8 wire channel cable and red and black cable), as I'm not to familiar with the exact function of the servo cable from the esc enough to know how the PDB converts the three wire esc servo cable to the single coloured wired going to the pixhawk? I wish 3DR would make the parts for the X8 available like the other models.
A local company plans on selling the parts but haven't received any stock yet so that could be a bit, so perhaps I'll keep on the search for a single board rather than two quad boards.

I had figured it was fine, but with the amount of $$$ invested into it, I thought perhaps a second opinion would be best....

I'm also facing this issue trying to create (connect 2 quad PDB's) for my X8+ I'm finishing up, but two Tabs also fell off on the first quad PDB, so hopefully the second one will be better, as I can't seem to find a place to purchase a PDB for an 8 configuration like the one 3DR has on their factory made X8+...

Well I have not changed any wires and I did not place any added pressure (power) on any wire.
I simply connected the red power wire of one esc's on the same power tab as another esc's red power wire, so it would be simply a matter of wether or not the PDB tab could support the extra power pressure (one of the front tabs came off so I have the two front esc's red wires on the same positive tab without any deans connector). I did not touch any of the signal servo wires from any of the esc's, they all go according to what the instructions call for, I merely removed all the dean connectors from the PDB and soldered the ESC's directly to the PDB to save room so put more components inside.
So a better question would have been to ask would be how much power can one positive tab on the PDB handle? Will the extra pressure cause the PDB it to melt? I assumed it would be able to handle two 20A esc's using a 3s 33mah lipo but I could be wrong.
During calibration everything worked great (all motors seemed to have the same power) so this is why I also assumed that it would work fine.
I wish I would have taken a photo before re-assembling it for a proper explanation.

the only downside I see is that if you put more amps through the connection than the wire/connector can handle, you could melt it. But considering the PDB uses the same gauge wire as the battery, I do not see a big problem there (not sure how many amps a deans connector can handle, but I doubt it's an issue here.
While removing the deans connectors on my Y6 PDB to save space I accidentally removed one of the pads (can't remember if it was a top or a bottom one, although i think it was a top positive front one) so rather than waiting for a new PDB I merely just solder the two esc wires (3DR 20A) to the one pad. After recalibrating all the esc's everything worked perfectly fine during calibration.
My question is, could that have any negative effect in which I should not fly and simply wait for another PDB? Or am I perfectly fine as it simply just receiving power this way?
I should mention that I am using a 3dr power module soldered directly to the pdb itself which works perfectly fine also.
