Drone flying to non visible point
Hi there,I encountered a problem, while flying in auto mode, with approching to point that was not set by trajectory and is not visible after downloading mission from flight controller by Mission Planner. Does anybody encountered similar problem. The situation is that in the middle flight I stopped the UAV and uploaded new mission and after changing to auto mode it starts to fly in some direction. It goes straight to some point, so I assume it's not mechanical problem. I attached the link to…

@SirPent Did you check your com port settings in your control panel and on Mission planner?

Thanks @iskess. I just posted this there for those following this:
Hi,
I have been working on my future arducopter for almost a month now mainly getting parts from various vendors in china, rctimer being one of them. In any case, I have run into what seems like a roadblock with the gps on this quadcopter as everything seems to be flashing pretty but nothing is registering in with ardupilot Mission Planner. I just get a "NO GPS'. So I am stumpped as to what to do with this.
I went through this great post (kudos to the author) and it helped a lot. I even did all the terminal setup reset ect.. but nothing.
I put a video up for those who have more knowledge that I do with this sort of stuff.

Any help would be much appreciated... Thanks in advance.

Read through post #6 and follow the instructions closely. If you still have issues afterwards, post on that thread.
Hi everyone, please spare a moment to look at this post. http://diydrones.com/forum/topics/guaging-diy-community-interest-in...
I'm trying to get an idea about the kind of interest the DIY community would have in consumer applications.
no gps and gps lock are two completely different messages when the apm doesnt see it attached you get no gps or when your not connected to the apm mavlink protocol
when you are connected to the apm and have no lock it will read GPS: No Fix
@Mark, if you look at the board with the motor outputs facing you, Just above the motor outputs is a two pin jumper. I don't know if you put the header in or not. This bridges the ESC power side to the rest of the board. I went to look at the rctimer site and their photos has the header and jumper included and the board shows the connection as JP1.
My GPS does not get satellite GPS lock indoors. The No GPS on the planner means you don't have lock. The GPS maybe working fine but you can't lock inside. Take it outside and wait several minutes. The GPS should find the satellites and you will then see GPS lock on the MP.
@Oliver thanks buddy I appreciate that info. Always learning :-)
@John McGarth
John, if the hex isn't level on the ground or if it has been rotated after arming the motors may spool up quite differently from one another as the craft is trying to orient itself, very noticeable if you are applying only a little throttle. The test is to spool up to where the hex is light on its feet, or even just lifts off. If there is indeed a problem you'll know it then. I got spooked by the same thing early on.
