  • Any suggestions on one- or two-stop shopping for miscellaneous electrical components like buttons, switches, LEDs, connectors, power cables, etc.?  I can track down any of these parts individually, but it would be nice to get most of them from just one or two reputable sources to (a) reduce the time I spend hunting and comparing, (b) save shipping,  and (c) guarantee relatively prompt delivery to a US address.

I imagine there might be one source that specializes in drone- or RC airplane-specific parts (e.g., XT60 connectors, servo extension cables) and a second one that is a go-to for general purpose electrical/electronic parts (e.g., toggle switches, LEDs, etc.).

  • Try doing onboard magnetic calibration. It helped in my case
  • Bernardo, I switched cables, not the problem. The power is from my big tower, and is main-board power-it's fine too.

When it works there's a lot of light activity that I don't understand. I hate not understanding. I need to educate myself. Can someone point me to a manual that explains such things?I've looked, and the PX4 manual does not speak about pixhawk-specific things.

  • @ James Miller: Perhaps the power of the USB is too low. Try connect the Pixhawk with a short cable direct to an USB plug (?) or try a different cable

  • Pixhawk---DOA?
If I plug in a battery to the (connected) power monitor the pixhawk will light up one time out of 3. If I plug in the USB port to my PC, to a full-service port using the cable that came with it, my pixhawk does not light at all-- just a faint flicker from the power lights, and then a tiny tick-tick-tick-tick noise, just audible, from the FC.
If I keep trying and finally get it to light off with battery, I am able to load Qgroundcontrol, but not flash firmware. It says to unplug battery.
    Help!
Anyone had this problem before? It's been in my drawer for 6 months, so HK sure aint gonna want to see it back!
