It would be a 3 man crew. Not one guy operating two drones.
How many people are operating multiple drones from the same laptop? Looking for tips on two DJI Matrice operated from one UGCS base station for surveying. Is it very confusing keeping them straight as they are leaving and coming back? Or just takes some practice?
Hi:
I am trying to read telemetry with version 2.13. But in the latitude and longitude these erroneous values appear:
{"id": "TT_LATITUDE", "value": 0.33958137}, {"id": "TT_LONGITUDE", "value": - 1.7310266}
You have to do some calculation to obtain to get the positions like this: "19.456566, -99.180498.61.17" WGS-84.
Thanks in advance
Regards
Hi guys:
I'm new to UgCS and drones. I've been testing version 2.12 with Phantom 4 DJI with the Java SDK from here:
https://github.com/ugcs/ugcs-java-sdk.
Following the examples, I have managed to read telemetry, send commands and upload routes, but I have two limitations:
1.- When the telemetry is connected with version 3.0, it does not work correctly.
2.- I don't know how to manipulate camera rotation and drone movements. I tried sending the command "direct_payload_control", but it gives me the error: "command not registered".
Reading this documentation: http://docs.ugcs.com/ucs_vsm_commands_page.html#command_registering.
I understand that you have to register the command, but I still do not know how. Please someone help me.
Regards.

I am working on UgCS for muti-Drone(arducopter).
I have some question now, I have tested the 2 quadcopters with ardupilot and here+ RTK GNSS, ESP-07 WIFI telemetry . but UgCS Pro version have lost the telemetry up/down links on about 30~40 meter altitude.
I have tested in LOS environment with TP-Link wifi router .
I want to control the drones over 150m at least.
please let me know how to solver this problem . which telemetry module I use for multi-drones.
Regards
Jin
I have the same problem. How did you solve your problem ?
is possible read mission file from UgCS to MissionPlanner, in both directions.
I have the same problem. My "Overshoot" field is also set to 0.
If you reduce overlap you also reduce the quality of the results.Pix 4D recommends 70% overlap (as does most other photogrammetry software).
Please explain how to correct this and have the UAV follow the outline of the area.
Thanks,
Marshall
