Coax 8X quad

Is there any reason why one cannot add four pushers to a quad using just four escs to control all the motors?

I know that there would be no redundancy with that configuration, but there is an advantage related to lifting capacity...Anybody any experie

Landing gear activation

Does anybody know whether it's possible to activate retractable landing gear using the barometer/GPS with Pixhawk?

I'd like to have my gear automatically switched into the down postion at say 5 metres above the ground when landing....

Pixhawk telemetry settings

Could anybody inform as to whether the stock parameter settings (3.3.1) for telemetry ports Sr0 ans Sr1 will enable telemetry output to the 3Dr radio and OSD? ....or do the same settings apply as for the APM that are described in the APM wiki.

Frame oscillations with 4S

I wonder if anyone can explain why my quad should exhibit serious frame oscillations before take off revs with a 4S battery, but flies perfectly with a 3S.

The Minin flickers with the 4S too, but is steady on the 3S (only powered from the 5V anologue

APM 2.6 and 3.2.x firmware

I'm running an APM 2.6 clone, which was fine on 3.1.5 firmware. I misguidedly upgraded to 3.2.1 last week and did an autotune with horrible results.

Twitch on flight mode switch

My asymetric quad flies really well with an APM 2.6 on Copter.3.2.1 and MP 1.3.25.

But I've noticed that there is a slight roll twitch when I switch from any other mode to Loiter. Just once.

Otherwise rock solid in loiter, and responsive in stabilised

Driodplanner/ Tower

There seem to be certain differences between the two interfaces on Andriod.

I find that DP will lock onto my position with GPS enabled on my phone very quickly whereas in Tower it never does.

It also seems that DP doesn't have the 'Follow me' facility

MinimOSD battery voltage error

Is there a parameter setting in APM 3.2 that alters how the battery voltage is displayed in telemetry?
