Hardcore commented on Martin Poller's blog post Warning! Loctite eats plastic
"I think that before we say that a particular chemical degrades another one, we have to be sure that the chemicals/materials we are testing are actually what they claim to be.
You would be very surprised at what gets passed off as 'plastic' when you…"

Hardcore commented on Peter Bell's blog post German Multicopter Lifts Human Pilot
"Seriously radical death wish, that is just sooo out there, certainly on par with base jumping.
The main issue I see with these designs is putting the pilot on the top, surely it would make far more sense to put the centre of gravity below the blades…"

"I think you are going to fail the 'laugh test', rather than worknig on Business plans there needs to be a frank discussion on safety protocols.

Hardcore replied to Mike Goza's discussion HexaXL flip on take off

Maybe what you are seeing:
1st battery starts to go flat, you remove it: charges in the Ecaps support the Microcontroller, as the Ecaps drain the various devices get a fake idea of where the + rail is, the eeprom is 'normally'  locked out by a…"

Hardcore replied to Vincent Mees's discussion ESC modification
"Basically the ESC contains a micro controller and associated circuitry, when the ESC takes a large power hit, the supply rails dip.
This can be a problem since it can cause the micro controllers to see a voltage offset as the internal circuitry…"

Hardcore replied to vUAVman's discussion Lost Model Experience -- Settling with power
"There is another option is weight is not too much of an issue, or you are really interested in getting your unit back.
The solution would be a phone enabled GPS tracker, one small enough to strap to a cat normally they are really rugged and can be…"
