Well I finally finished building a new quad and put APM 2.0 on it, have to say I was very impressed, no PID changes needed, and very solid Alt hold. Did several test flights, everything on the board seemed to be functioning ok until I
Well after a crash last week, seems I cannot get APM to function correctly. I'm not sure whether APM failed before of after the crash, I lost radio signal, and the aircraft failed to respond, but it did not go to RTL like it normally would (receiver
Well I have just set up APM for quadcopter use, but have been having a few issues. I don't seem to be getting any PWM signal out of APM Nor am I getting any transmitter readings in the configurator. The Gyro/accel data is displaying ok, The receiver
I went to use the CLI for APM prior to a flight yesterday and I cant get it it to respond to any commands. The CLI opening screen will display correctly, but when I enter a command i get no response. I have tried in both the mission planner, and seri
Well I have had my APM up and running for a few weeks now and have flown some nice long missions 10-14km with trouble free performance. The only real issue I have had is the homing like action between waypoints, even in nil wind. The aircraft will dr
Well I had my first successfull flight with APM this morning, tested Stabilise, and FBW-A with no dramas and only some minor adjustments, but have been having issues getting the APM Mission planner to work correctly. When ever I try and write
Just wondering if anybody has noticed any improvement in stabilisation performance, particularly reduction of occilations with the use of High speed servos?
Hi, I have been setting up the APM+oilpan with MediaTek GPS with the public Beta. I am not geting a GPS lock signal displayed from the ABC led's. But it will get a GPS lock with lat. and long. displayed in the CLI when testing via USB in dump mode.
Just wondering what sort of realistic range one can expect from the 2.5Ghz modules. Also how well can the range be extended with a directional antenna?Cheers
I have a quick question about the ArduPilot and the failsafe Return To Launch function. Can it be programed so that the ArduPilot will continue a mission even if the radio signal is out of range or lost? Also what length of time does the signal have
How badly are the XY & Z thermopile sensors affected by uneven or hilly terrain? I am guessing that flying at a higher altitude reduces such problems a little, am I correct?Cheers Paul
I'm after peoples opinions on whether or not a larger model is better to run ArduPilot on. My opinion is that a larger heavier aircraft would yeild better results with this system due to its much higher level of stablibility, hence less eratic ocilla
Just a quick question, Is it possible to operate the Ardupilot system on a aircraft with rudder/elevator or aleron/elevator mixing? from what I can gather it cannot, is this true?Cheers
