the camera i designed for vision applications for mobile robots. at the point the picture was taken the ethernet socket for data connection hadn't been soldered.

  • This is Great. Perhaps it would help to mount cameras very far apart, perhaps placing one on each wingtip to produce 3D images?
  • Did UC Berkeley pay for it? Guess the next step is writing down the specs. Image sensor, microprocessor, cost, functionality, voltage regulators. That must burn a lot of power.
  • looks impressive! can you tell a bit more about the camera board - do both cameras and lenses have same spec, what's a processing power (or what chip do you use), what is a design consideration for distance between two camera, etc...
