  • Now that's confidence, doing a bump test in a room like that. Nicely done.
  • @Greg, You're right can be very dangerous at home.
    @All,
    I am very confident about my code, many hours of flying and I never had unpredictable behavior, but for safety I have a finger ready all the time to shut off by"killing switch"
    Is also for a safety reason: for now I will not release the code or the Programmed card, first I want to be sure there are no errors that can hurt someone.
    The control loop rate is 2 kHz, but the ITG3200 is sampled at 1Khz with 42Hz low pass filter bandwidth.
    Additionaly I use some FIR filter
    In the video I use a 35 MHz RX with serial ppm output, but usually I use the Jeti Duplex 2.4 Ghz system that allows for the telemetry,the box on the antenna is "jetibox" for this purpose
  • Great work. What's the radio (and additional amplifier?) you are using?
  • great progress! but could you please document your hardware setup/schematic, and current code. i am planning to do something like this (probably along with many other people) and your progress would be a big help, thanks
  • yeah, I've got the same sensors, do you mind sharing code?
  • It is very impressive. Are you using DCM or a Kalman filter. I am in the process implementing an ITG3200 with an ADXL345 using the DCM. What sampling rate are you using, filtering ect.?
  • Powerful quads look dangerous to flesh based organisms when flown indoors at close range. I was impressed how it was lifting that heavy rug. Didn't your mother teach you about such things? "You'll put your eye out with that thing" :O Seriously dude, be careful or you might end up with a row of staples in your face or worse an eye patch.
  • Great job!
