Still "Low cost" platform made in light wood and Alu. I know it's a big ship and Weight are getting close to maximum without special license.

The platform are still in testing - When I have some video documentation I will post.

Wingspan 3 meter.

Motor Twin 53 CC

Mugin UAV platform will soon also be available with T tail.

  • The wing design looks like deep chamber,high lift,low speed,thick wing section,suitable for transports,bombers.:)
  • do you have calculated the Maximum take off weight and the Maximum payload weight . ?
  • You know you prop is on backwards. Very nice airframe. If there are any engine cooling problems, I see room for improvement in this area. Air scoops and a cowling will help.... if it's even needed. Nice work !!!

@Patrick All too soon for questions like this. I will get back with more information.

Wings: Yes are covered with balsa not play wood.
  • Wonderful UAV platform !
  • This project looks interesting - a few questions, if I can:

    1) Wing - which airfoil (e.g NACA 4415 .... or what?), and why did you choose the airfoil you have chosen for this model?

    2) All Up weight?

    3) Are the wings also covered with [ply]wood?

    4) Have any MotorCalc type calculations been undertaken e.g. velocity/lift, stall speed/AUW, Velocity/Drag ect ect ........

Look forward to seeing some video .........
