Same limit here in Canada.
I don't want to be a killjoy, but in the UK we are limited to 400ft altitude, I assume you have similar laws. Flying FPV at your altitude is Dangerous and irresponsible. This sort of action will get FPV banned for all of us.
@GrzegorzSz - around 2000 m at most if i remember right.
Thanks everybody!
@Stefan - My goals with the design of the plane was to have a plane that is light weight and with a big surface area to get the maximum amount of flying time. The airplane empty weighs around 350-400g and with all the electronics it is about 1600g. The span of the wing is around 1,5 m and as you can see on the picture it is really wide. I also wanted it to be as stable as possible so that i could fly through the clouds without the plane rolling over and ending up upside down. So i got inspired by the free flight models and copied some of there characteristics.
@Peter - Here is where i found out about the booster

The only thing you need is the right connector for the U.FL cable in the module and make sure that the module itself is not to strong. I think my Futaba TM-14 module puts out 70mw ore something like that. If those things are ok then it should work!
What altitude are you flying on?
Can you tell me more about this 1w wifi booster, would it work with the t10chg 2.4g. Its getting impossible to find futaba radios with modules that I can replace with the FRSKY module.
Oh and by the way love the vid, especially in full screen.
Regards Pete
Beautiful video!
Do you have more info on the plane? I really like it.
Really nice!
