Remzibi OSD Now Available!

I'm proud to offer one of the best OSD's on the market. Specially the configuration tool and the fact that is fully customizable!I also offered because we are working together (Remzibi, HappyKill and me) to make it 100% compatible with Ardupilot, in order to display all the telemetry data on it. In the near future you will be able to have a full autopilot with IMU and OSD telemetry. Nice.. What else you need? (beside directional antenna, we are working on that too).If you see them on stock you better hurry, because they will going to be mainly out stock due to the high demand! To buy or reserve one (in case they are out of stock), go to our store. Also you will be able to see a demo video i did. I've lost the Spektrum 2.4Ghz connection and i started to dive! What i did is rise the Remote Control in order to regain control, i was lucky and i was able to bring it back to home safely and all thanks to the Remzibi compass navigation!http://store.diydrones.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=remzibi_v11

  • Jordi and Happy, I also already bought the U-Blox and I would like buying only the OSD (it will be possible)

    Caleb,

Remzibi sells the OSD without the GPS if you want to buy it in that configuration. The prices is less as you have stated.

    Jordi,

If we previously bought a uBlox GPS, which has been programmed for binary mode of operation, from the DIY Drones Store, can it be reprogrammed for the NMEA mode also without having to send it back to the Store?

    Just a thought.

    TCIII
  • well see that's great, exactly what i was hoping for. so in this case the unit should be offered without the gps module. should cut the price in half.
  • Freeware called CamStudio

Happy, What software did you used for your screen capture of OSD-GPS demo??
  • Thomas Posey and Caleb M. You are incorrect. You connect the GPS (UBlox with NMEA turned on as well as binary) or Remzibi's GPS unit to the ArduPilot. Then you jumper the serial port from the ArduPilot to the Remzibi OSD. Then the output from the OSD to the VTx. The OSD does not require it's own GPS unit. It can (and does) use the same GPS as the ArduPilot. It gets wired like the photo below except the GPS goes where the FTDI cable goes and your Rx goes where the servo tester is.

  • Hello Jordi,

I recently ordered a unit from the store. Can recommend any other components that would be required to get this working?
  • Yes Thomas, that is my thoughts. the OSD to be properly integrated would simply piggyback on the ardupilot and get ALL the relevent information from it. else its a stand alone unit.
  • I think the question is - can the osd "share" the same GPS with the ardupilot? Another way to put it - can the output from ardupilot serial output be used as the osd GPS input? From what i can see, it cannot because ardupilot requires binary from the GPS while the OSD needs NMEA. Is this correct?
