I assume you looked into going to an earlier version?

All I can say oh boy.... here we go.

  • @ Nathaniel and @Paul,

This crazy feature can not be turned off.  I went into Configure tab and deselected "Show Airports" and only the broken rings around airports disappeared.

I live inside the outer ring of this large and circle and can barely see anything under it.  This is annoying to say the least.

    @Doug,

I believe that is identifying the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area Special Flight Rules Area (or the "ADIZ" Air Defense Identification Zone).

I don't think there is a way to disable it. You can turn off the airports, but I don't see a way to disable the display of these zones. It's interesting that it doesn't effect the Flight Planning page, just the Flight Data page. That really makes the Flight Data screen unusable for the Baltimore area in the zone.

  • It is the airport overlay, if you hover your pointer over the red circles they will show you the airport name.  Baically to show you when you are close to an airport. You can turn it off in the configuration tab, as detailed in this post:

  • What is this on my map and how do I turn it off?!?!?

It showed up when I downloaded the latest Mission Planner?3701881755?profile=original

  • @Austin

I recently had an issue where checking the reverse box [ in AMP Planner ] didn't reverse it as it should but if I did so in the full param list it did. 1 is normal  -1 is reverse.

  • Just throwing this into the mix here and I apologize if it is not the correct forum gents, but there is little time left to take advantage of this great offering. I thought it my duty to bring to your attention this invention from a German group of engineers that may very well put to rest much of FAA worries about LOS/ FPV and Drones falling out of the sky. Check this out. I signed up for an "Early Bird" of this device called the AP Manager (by Gizmotec) that combines two FC's of your choice (their test set up uses two Pixhawk, but it can be any combo, mix or match) and even if both fail it will still control a multirotor or fixed wing craft via the onboard Rx. @Austin,

Make sure that on the MP's radio calibration screen, the green bar for the pitch moves in the opposite direction to the physical stick on your transmitter.  If it moves the wrong way, fix it in the transmitter not by adjusting any arducopter parameters.

  • Pixhawk elevator/pitch reverse issue. I just can not get the pixhawk to reverse at all. reverse on my aurora 9 but makes no odds. pick up quad and aileron is fine when I lean it to the right the right motors spin up to relevel it same as when I do it on the left side. but when it comes to the elevator I lean it backwards and the back motors slow down. totally fed up and utterly confused. Can someone else?

  • Thanks mP1. Unfortunately we are leaving early Monday morning so I can't really get it quickly enough from Sydney.

@David - do you have a web portal? I will order from you in the future.

Drone flying to non visible point

Hi there,I encountered a problem, while flying in auto mode, with approching to point that was not set by trajectory and is not visible after downloading mission from flight controller by Mission Planner. Does anybody encountered similar problem. The situation is that in the middle flight I stopped the UAV and uploaded new mission and after changing to auto mode it starts to fly in some direction. It goes straight to some point, so I assume it's not mechanical problem. I attached the link to…

Will AHRS_ORIENTATION=8 for Arducopter 3.2.1 on APM 2.5 using a traditional Heli

I have been Reading Chris Olsen posts and watching his videos on Arducopter with traditional Helis using a Pixhawk.I have inherited an older Trex 450 heli with the old Align 3G FBL hardware.  The FBL controller appears to be bad.  So I have an old APM 2.5 without a compass or GPS on board.  I just want to replace the failed Align 3G FBL system with the APM.Now I have to mount the APM under the skids on the heli so the APM will be upside down.I have Two questions.1)  Is the AHRS_ORIENTATION=8…
