Hi All,
Before posting an issue or a problem in the ArduRover Discussion Forum, please check the wiki table of contents, review the firmware release notes in the subforum, and search that subforum for existing answers to your question. Help avoid duplicate threads by finding other members with the same issue and their solution.
When formulating your post, use a descriptive title such as "rover will not navigate to waypoints in the Auto mode" (not "HELP!" or "Problem").
Please include the following information to help diagnose your query:
- Describe the problem you are having. What is the expected verses the observed behavior?
- Provide hardware information such as the brand and version of your autopilot, GPS, radio, and compass, as well as any other pertinent details about your rover setup.
- What version of the APM: ArdurRover2 firmware version are you running?
- For navigation issues, provide your tlog and/or dataflash log. Click here for instructions on retrieving a dataflash log.

@Justin,
I think that it is still in the formative stage as far as I know. It might be held in Oct or Nov of this year.

Thomas J Coyle III, What is this Bay Area AVC of which you speak?
Kirby G,
I should be ready by next weekend. :) I ran a slash 4x4 platinum last year. I've gone "bigger" this year. I'm not running any 3dr hardware or software but I wish you best of luck... so long as you are not in doping! ;)

Hi Kirby G,
I decided to pass on this year's Sparkfun AVC as there seems to be an AVC possible in the San Francisco Bay area later this year and I have family in the area.
We here at the ArduRover User Group wish you good luck in this year's AVC.

So is everyone ready for AVC? I got mine all setup and ready to go, headed to Colorado tomorrow morning for a vacation for the week and to end it with the competition. I will have some spare traxxas slash 4x4 platinum parts and a complete roller for the turnigy beetle along with another almost complete for parts if anyone using those designs has a part break. I also have a spare 3dr apm, power module, and 3 batteries if anyone has hardware issues.
Hi All,
For all of you who are chomping at the bit to move up to the next big thing in navigation controllers, I have started a Pixhawk Fire Cape User Group This group will be working with the 4gb Beagle Bone Black (BBB) and the Pixhawk Fire Cape to assist with the various vehicle software compilations and integration.

Hi Grant, so I tested on RC5 with pass through and servo worked. I found out why it does not work on RC>8 : I forgot my receiver was an 8 channels one and not a 16 channel...oops.
I still have a comment and request for modification about a misleading info that made me loose a few hours before I found out another mistake I made: RC servo outputs won't work until the safety switch is on. But before I remembered that the safety switch had to be pressed, I was looking at the real time status of RC out channels and it displayed the right PWM values. So I did not understand why the servo was not moving while the PWM out value was moving ! So my suggestion would be to not display the RC Out channels values unless the safety switch is on. (Or to alternatively warn the user that the safety switch is off and should be on).
Hi Grant, will do and report back. Thx.
@Hugues. Try configuring the passthrough on RC8 or lower to ensure your configuration is correct and then re-attempt on RC9-RC10. I believe it should work but its not something I tried.
Thanks, Grant.
@Don,
Could you please start a thread in the Discussion Forum concerning your sensor issue as it will be much easier to help you troubleshoot your issue in a discussion thread.
