  • Skyfun Mk2 build in progress, but I don't think I'll be ready for next weekend.  I'll still come along UAV-less in the hope that Byron will actually fly something! ;)

  • Hi Jerry.  The files are on my laptop so I'll dig them out and e-mail them to you tomorrow, hopefully.  I didn't get really very far at all with the autonomous modes.  It was mostly teaching me how to fly...  I hope to build another, perhaps also a duplicate at the same time...

    How's your Skyfun and the orthomapping travelling?

  • Tonight, I have discovered (after bring myself to view the .kmz file) that my now ex-Skyfun would still have some fun left in it if it had remained in RTL mode.  Sadly, it crashed in the now ironically named "Stablize" mode!

  • 0800 is the idea in my head, David.  The reality may be different...

  • Might make an early morning attempt at Willie to not crash my Skyfun again tomorrow (Sunday). All fellow Melbournian flyers of all forms welcome. The BOM is making good promises it probably can't keep but we'll see.

Hello All,I am part of the Melbourne Hackerspace. http://www.hackmelbourne.org/A group of hackers who tinker with electronics and robots. We have many great tools such as 3S printers and C & C mills that members can use.We have a meeting place where we could meet up to build our UAVs and such.
