Does anyone still build these? What's the state of affiars for DIY and coaxial hexacopter builds?
I've been fascinated with Y6 designs for years and have been wanting to craft my own but never had the finances to do so. FInally came into some extra cashflow and want to put it towards a drone. Amos! Ace video, and nice flying, bud! I was unable to fly last weekend, and Im itching to try out fence, folllow me, and some basic missions this weekend.
Mine draws 28A -32A on hover.
Hey, what flight times do you get and with what type of batteries?
I have problems with my Y6a. It consumes about 45-50A when it hovers, but according 3DR should draw about 30A
My first flight video after a few days of practicing Stabilize mode... the Y6 is a nice machine!
