  I just received a notification that my gimbal has shipped from Great Hobbies here in Canada. They seem to have everything Solo before BestBuy and London Drugs.

  @Brandon, it's sad that it has to come down to a battle with support just in order to get what you paid for, but I guess some positive came out of the situation so it's not a total loss.......

  @Terry, this seems to be the case with 3DR over the past year, that in order to get anywhere with them you pretty much have to declare war on their support (not literally declaring war, but definitely putting up a good fight in order to get anywhere, or in other words bumped to a Manager), but in the end things seem to (usually) work out for the best...And glad to hear the gimbal looks to be a quality build, that is great news!........

  I also had issues with them, but in order to avoiding waisting anymore time debating  with someone from support (who may or may not have been lacking basic common sense), I moved on and bought a Phantom 3 for the time being, while my Solo sits on a closet shelf in its new box...Hopefully one day I'll get to use it....

  I had a similar issue, sending the Solo back before having it in the air for more then a few minutes, raised a bit O hell and a manager took over my orders, received the gimbal early last week, looks very well build and sturdy unlike dji.

  Craig, I think the reason I received the gimbal before most people is because it wasn't a typical order. I had a highly escalated issue with my Iris that was being handled by one of the managers. I kept receiving a faulty Iris+ one after another. That in addition to mutiple issues with their support, one of the managers took over my case and sent me the solo, gimbal and new go pro hero 4. If memory serves, the order was placed around July 6th.

  @Brandon, did you order direct from 3DR or one of the release partners such as B&H? That's good news! I've read a few places that people have definitely been starting to receive them so I'm curious as to if anyone who order elsewhere then 3DR have heard anything? Thankfully I received my second battery a week after my Solo...They seem to be very vague on actually details...

  I'm in Vegas and received my gimbal about a week and a half ago.

  @Ray,  Yeah it would definitely be nice if they provided a bit more details then, "Gimbals have finally cleared customs and are on their way to our launch partners to fill pre orders next week"...This doesn't define which customs, as I'm sure China has their own clearances,...n'or does this answer the question which launch partners? From what I can recall there were several partner, in the U.S. it has like B&H, BestBuy (I'm not positive on this one) and perhaps another, here in Canada it was London Drugs, Great Hobbies, and then they added Best Buy Canada later on.......So are these all considered launch partners or simply the U.S. based partners included in this shipment? Or neither?......Time will tell I guess...

  Anyone in Canada hear anything on gimbals yet? I see people elsewhere in the world have been starting to receive theirs...
