Adam Singer replied to Shehryar Niazi's discussion Help Needed Badly - Gasoline Engine Quad (Variable Pitch)
"I've got to agree with Alan here...

Safety issues aside, this sounds at first like an amazingly cool project, but after a moment or two consideration I realize that it would be extremely difficult to realize under any timeframe or budget.

Adam Singer commented on Roberto Navoni's blog post VR Brain Micro 5.0 : yesterday start to delivery the pre order of VR Brain Micro . Now we are working on vrbrain wiki updates will be available in the next hours .

"1) I'll check on the firmware version when I get home, it was installed via APM Planner as the latest stable version about 2.5 weeks ago.

Adam Singer replied to Adam Singer's discussion Pixhawk Flyaway
"Oh, one thing I forgot to mention - once things went haywire - there seemed to be no apparent response to any control inputs from the radio control unit (as well as my attempt to hit the "go home" button on droidplanner)"

I had a disturbing experience yesterday. I was test flying my Hex and after a few successful hovers, a little PID tuning, and running through a few flight modes, I decided to let it stretch it's wings a little more.On a fresh charge, I put it into…
