"OK, found problem was the diode in the DIN line. Bypassed with 120K 1/8watt resistor and data was perfect. Sparkfun has some info on this but not on page where xbee shield is."

"Ok, many weeks later, I split the power supply and made sure both xbees and the IMU and computer were set to 57600 baud. The two xbees are talking but the data is not usable. almost all showing as 00 in the hex window. Can't figure out where I am…"

"Can anyone tell me how to connect the 9d0f IMU running the SF9DOF_AHRS software directly too an XBEE. I have tried using the xbee shield using the following connections:

IMU XBEE
DTR ---------> DTR
TX0 ---------> DIN
RX1 ---------> DOUT
