    Is there BBQ facitities at Tompkin Park? I've only been there a few times for training workshops at the meeting facilities.

    I don't have a maja, I have the wing thing made by the same guys.  Currently have a skywalker fitted for FPV, an X5 and ZII ready for FPV but not fitted, and a Penguin on order.

    Tompkins park looks like a good choice! Haven't been there yet. I'm pretty sure Hai actually has a Maja.... Then again, is there anything Hai doesn't have? :0)

    not sure how huge a field you guys normally fly in but I usually fly at Tompkins park@alfred cove or Tom bateman reserve@Thornlie?

    I won't be flying this weekend though so it's up to you guys :D

    On both my X5's about 5 mins into maiden flights using different RXs, just doing LOS circuits, I lost all radio control for no apparent reason.  According to Chris Anderson there was a bug in the software that affected APM2.0.

    Anyone suggest a meetup location?

    Would like to come around and meet you guys, won't have anything to fly now after the lipo fire 2 weeks ago :-/

    @Hai can you please elaborate how APM caused both the crash?

    OK - that is a relief however does not make the crashes any better :-(

    I was considering the later model of that family of autopilots at one stage.

    I haven't got any APMs in my planes right now after the APM2 crashed 2 of my X5s on their maidens after 5 mins of flying LOS circuits in manual mode.

Hi AllPurchased a FlyPro X600 and I am trying to sort out what would be the most suitable camera to use for FPV and some video/stills photography.  The supplier has wired it up for a GoPro 3.  That model is a little out of date but a good camera to start with although if I am going to purchase a camera I would like to only spend on a one of that last for sometime.  I have had a look at the specs for the for what I will be flying it for Sony FDR-X1000V.  The software has stabilisation and some…

APM2 board: not able to get past radio calibration step. please help.

Would anybody be able to help me with Mission Planner comms to APM2 board? I've hit a hump that is troubling me. I'm not able to get past radio calibration step on new board and gear (Turnigy 9ch). I've got considerable IT experience and some APM1 successes but this prob is a B.
