Cannot arm with CUAV M8N GPS

I am using a few CUAV M8N GPS receivers as the M8N chip is great!

With the Rover code there is no problem to arm but the plane totally refuses to arm. It says GPS1 configuration fail (or something very similar)

Ailerons unlineraity

APM Copters are setting their home position when arming

Motors refuse to start

I have two motors driven by Turnigy Multistar 30 Amp BLHeli Multi-rotor Brushless ESC 2-6S V2.0.
Connected via a Y-cable to the Pixhawk port 3.

When everything is connected and the system is powered up the motors refuse to start when armed.

High precision position input

I know I have read you said you will change from 32 bit to 64 bit input so it's possible to use the Pixhawk with a Piksi for high precision RTK system. When will this be implemented?
