The time has come for me to part with my custom built hexacopter. This has been so much fun over the last couple years, but with a young child at home I just don't have the time anymore. I have well north of $1000 into this thing but need it gone.
I recently updated my 9x to er9x. Ever since doing so I am unable to arm my copter. I've run the radio calibration and it's picking up all my inputs just fine. Everything on the radio end seems to work fine with my planes, but it won't arm the copter
I am trying to figure out a way to drive stepper motors via my RC Rx. I have been looking at Pololu stepper motor drivers but have gotten nowhere. Has anyone done this before? I just need a place to start.
I started off small with a custom built quad and got the hang of flying multicopters...This just fueled the fire. After doing much research, attempting to build everything from scratch and failing, I decided to start buying components for my hexa. (I
I have been interested in flying fpv for some time and now that I have enough flight hours under my belt I want to give it a shot. I've done some research and determined that 900mhz is the way to go. The part I'm getting confused on is the power...10
I finally got all my motors wired up and loaded the APM with the hexa firmware. I set up everything as I had done before. I plugged in the battery, armed the motors and was prepping for the maiden flight, this is where the issue begins.I slowly raise
I was just wondering if there is an optimum boom length for hexacopters if it's a by case kind of thing. I ask because I am using 450 size booms and when I add the motor to the end, the boom sags. Anyone have any suggestions?
I saw a cool idea and thought that it'd be great for my new copter to save space/weight and make it look much nicer. I'm just wondering if it's a good idea.
I am building a Hexa and wanted to know if daisy chaining my ESC's (similar to the picture bel
This might not be so much of a problem, but something that is puzzling me.
I followed the steps exactly as specified here. This worked perfectly..I even went as far to reprogram it all and set up the switches in a logical pattern. Again, no problem,
